How it works
A simple, honest way to pass a book to someone nearby in Pune & PCMC.
Post your book
Add a title, a couple of photos, and your locality. Takes about a minute — no account to create.
Verify your email
We send a one-click link to confirm it's really you before the listing goes live. Keeps listings genuine.
Someone finds it nearby
Readers in your locality browse or search by title/author, filter free vs. for sale, and spot your book on the shelf.
Connect directly
When someone's interested, we send one email connecting you both — reply to arrange the handover, however suits you both.
Why no accounts, and how we stop spam
No login means less friction for real readers — but it also means we lean on a few quiet, automatic safeguards instead of a sign-up wall:
Email verification
Every listing needs a clicked magic link before it's visible. Filters out typos and throwaway spam in one step, at zero effort for real posters.
Community reporting
Anyone can flag a listing. Three reports auto-hides it pending a manual look.
Posters confirm when a book's gone
From the second person who expresses interest onward, the connection email lets the poster flag the book as already gone in one click — takes the listing down right away.
Have a book to pass on?
Someone nearby is probably looking for it.
